Tim and Jordyn’s Taubman Museum of Art wedding was absolutely incredible! The couple were on brother-sister dorms at Liberty University. Surely enough, they met at a tailgate for the university’s first home football game.
The engagement story
“For a couple of weeks, Tim had been insisting that we hiked up Sharp Top Mountain. However, different things kept getting in the way. Finally, we made it to the mountain on August 11, where Tim asked me the greatest question I have ever heard.
The hike up was exhausting. When we got to the overlook, it was fairly crowded with other adventurers. Tim suggested finding a more secluded spot that still had a gorgeous view.
When we found the perfect spot at the top of the mountain, he got down on one knee and asked if I knew why he wanted to propose at this place. I did not have an answer. He stated that this mountain was special because it is distinctly recognizable from anywhere in Lynchburg.
So now, whenever I catch sight of its peak on the horizon, I remember that day and the promise that we made to each other. Then he asked me if I would marry him. I’m fairly certain that I said YES at least a dozen times! The moment could not have been any more perfect.
What was your experience like in searching for the perfect dress?
“Absolutely perfect! I only went to Ashley Grace in search of my dress, and it was the experience that I had dreamed of!”
What was the process like planning your Taubman Museum of Art wedding?
“Overall, it was wonderful and exciting! However, there were times where I would call my MOH in tears wondering if it would all come together!”
