We invited Taylor to chat about her beautiful Mortgage Hall Estate wedding, as well as her experience searching for the perfect wedding dress. Here’s what she had to say:
“Wedding planning was overwhelming at times, but so fun. My favorite part was finding my wedding dress! I bought the first dress I tried on and fell in love with it. Everyone at Ashley Grace was incredible! One of my favorite memories.”
Luke and Taylor’s story started when they were 13 and 14. They started dating at the end of their sophomore year of high school. Fast forward 7 years, they had a gorgeous Mortgage Hall Estate Wedding in Middleburg, Virginia.
The Proposal
“Luke asked me to marry him in our friends barn, under a double rainbow. The end of the rainbow hit the barn. It was gorgeous and felt like a dream.”
How did you feel on your wedding day?
“In love, at peace, and strangely nothing phased me! I played with ponies, a huge horse, danced, and laughed so much.”

Did you incorporate anything special in your wedding that reflects you as a couple?
“We had an intimate first look. Luke cried before he ever turned around to see me. It was so sweet and so special.”

We are huge fans of “first-looks” and love it when our brides choose to do a first-look on their wedding day. Just wait until you see Taylor and Luke’s photos when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day!
