This Kalero Vineyard wedding in Purcellville, VA is absolutely stunning! Lena and Cole had the most beautiful celebration surrounded by their family and friends. We are so excited to finally be able to reveal Lena’s gorgeous wedding dress!
As you might already know, at Ashley Grace, we love staying in touch with our brides even after their wedding day. So when we asked Lena to tell us about her big day, she happily shared her favorite moments with us.
How did you and your husband meet?
Lena: We met at our church’s summer camp in 10th grade.
Do you have an interesting engagement story? How and where did he ask?
Lena: He proposed in his backyard in front of their new pool! It was perfect and all of our family was there!
What was your experience like in searching for the perfect dress?
Lena: It was the absolute best! Everything I pictured it would be in my head! Ashley Grace was the best experience and I truly felt so special!
In one sentence, how did you feel on your wedding day?
Lena: I felt overwhelmed by love, joy, and gratefulness.
Are there any special moments that specifically stick out in your mind from your wedding day?
Lena: As a wedding present, I surprised Cole by secretly recording me singing the first dance song we had picked out. It started playing and he had no idea and then i told him it was me singing and he was soooooo surprised and started crying.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Lena: My dress was so special because my grandmother bought it for me just two months before she passed, but having the dress that she bought me made it feel like she was right there with me so I am so grateful for that!
