We may be a little biased, but we believe that Jodee’s gown was the perfect fit for her exquisite John Marshall Ballroom wedding! Her and Jack looked absolutely stunning in their wedding attire.

When we asked Jodee what the process was like planning her John Marshall Ballroom wedding, she replied:

“It was surprisingly smooth. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to hire a wedding planner. It made the process so so so much easier! Also, we are both indecisive people, and the toughest part for us was just making decisions. We definitely had some decision fatigue at points, but we made it through! We were also lucky to have an amazing support network that stepped up to help with some of the planning and crafting.

I had heard some horror stories about wedding planning, but we, fortunately, did not have that experience. We just focused on what was important to us and trusted our planner to make sure everything got done. I believe the combination of those two things removed a lot of the stress for us.”

What was your experience like in searching for the perfect dress?

“Fun and easy! I had a variety of dresses I was interested in, and was able to try on so many styles at Ashley Grace. I never felt rushed, and could focus on how I felt. Moreover, I enjoyed spending time with my close girlfriends, mom, and sister. I also had an opportunity to bond with my now mother-in-law while dress shopping.

I was a little scared to wear a veil while trying on dresses because I knew it would be emotional to see myself in a wedding dress and veil, and I was right. It was the first time that the wedding seemed real to me, and that I was going to be a bride. That fear was overshadowed by how great I felt in my dress and the excitement of marrying Jack.”

How did you feel on your wedding day?

“I felt so loved and was surrounded by the perfect combination of great vendors, bridesmaids, and guests. We trusted them to handle any unexpected situations. I was able to be present with my guests and Jack, and fully enjoy the day. It was also amazing to see so many people come out to celebrate our relationship.”
