Ashley Grace Bridal celebrated our “official” Grand Opening with an entire week of festivities! As brides waited outside, our doors officially opened for the first time on the morning of December 9, 2016! With all the excitement of opening a new store in town, we wanted to have an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, so we planned a week-long celebration. For our week of festivities, we hosted local wedding vendors every day during the week, and we ended the week on Saturday with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and a fashion show!
Throughout the week, we brought in local vendors to set up a display in our store and tell brides more about what they do. We had a variety of local venues, caterers, photographers, florists, event coordinators, health experts, makeup artists, and more! AGB loves our local community and we feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people in the bridal industry.
On Saturday, February 25th, we planned a grand finale. The Bedford Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, as well as many brides, friends, and family, came out to support us as our owner, Teresa Thomas, and her two daughters cut our official ribbon! Once the ribbon was cut, community members wrote kind messages on our ribbon. It was so sweet to see all the sweet, supportive words our neighbors in the community wrote to us to wish us the best. It was a special moment for us at Ashley Grace Bridal — one that we surely will remember forever.
After we kicked off the morning with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, we then celebrated by putting on a fashion show! What a fun time! We had almost 20 beautiful models to model our designer gowns here at Ashley Grace. It was so exciting to see how much fun everyone was having, including both our audience and models! We had a packed house and even had some people watching through our windows! Wow — we were overwhelmed by such an incredible turnout! Jennifer Prince from Hill City Bride was kind enough to emcee the show. As always, she did an incredible job and really engaged the crowd. We also had a photo booth and a great photographer to capture all the fun of our Grand Opening day.
Our Grand Opening was truly a special time. All of us at Ashley Grace are so thankful for all of the support from our community. A huge thank you to everyone who was part of the event; we truly could not have done it without you!
