We’ve been dying to share this beautiful Wisteria Ridge wedding on the blog! Jacob and Hannah have one of the most unique stories, so you’re in for a treat!

The couple met on Tinder, a dating app that a friend of Hannah’s downloaded as a joke. Never did she think she’d actually meet her future husband by simply swiping right on the app. Two years later, she said “Yes” and the rest is history.

It was 28 degrees and windy on top of Bent Mountain. Jacob begged Hannah to help him feed the cows a roll of hay. As she was complaining about the cold, she heard Jacob calling her name. As she turned around, she saw Jacob down on one knee in the middle of their cow field. Jokingly, Hannah said that luckily for her, there was no one else around to see her “ugly cry” other than four cows. We looove their story so much!! So fun and unique!

Planing her Wisteria Ridge wedding “had its stages of happiness, feeling that I’m going crazy, and the feeling of is this ever going to end?! I will forever say, in the end it was worth every laugh, tear and mental breakdown.”

How did you feel on your wedding day?

I was so excited all day, but I cried A LOT! Happy tears of course, but it was so emotional. At one point I remember hearing Jacob’s truck pull in as I was getting my hair done, and I looked over at my mom and said: I can’t handle this… I just can’t do it! I wasn’t saying that I didn’t want to get married, but I had so many emotions and feelings going at once, it was the only thing that would come out! That only lasted for maybe a minute until I just laughed at myself.”

The couple chose From the Ground Up by Dan+Shay as their first dance song. The reason behind choosing this song is that it talks about a grandma and grandpa painting a picture of living in one little house for 65+ years, sharing memories and a love that is unexplainable. The house they live in now is a house that Jacob’s Grandpa built and lived in for 65+ years with his wife, Jacob’s grandma! “It’s great knowing we will be able to keep the house filled with love and laughter for another 65 years!”
