We are beyond humbled to be featured by Lynchburg Business as one of the 2018 small businesses on the rise. In our interview with them, we talked about how the idea of starting a bridal boutique came to life, how we decided on the name Ashley Grace, and our vision for the store.

Today, we want to give you a glimpse into our interview with Lynchburg Business. We also want to take you behind the scenes of how our store came to be.

The idea of starting a bridal boutique surfaced as our shop owner, Teresa, and her daughter began talking about options for a major in college. While discussing the things that she enjoyed the most, the show “Say Yes to the Dress” came up. Slowly, the idea of a mother/daughter business started to spark.

Why Ashley Grace Bridal?

The name Ashley Grace Bridal comes from the middle names of our owner’s two daughters: Lauren Ashley and Madison Grace.

Since opening our doors in December of 2016, our store quickly grew to where we now offer more than just stunning wedding gowns to our brides. We’ve added new features that enhance the wedding dress shopping experience, such as: veils, jewelry, bridal belts and shoes. In addition, we also offer specialty items, such as: flower girl dresses, tuxedo rentals, gown cleaning and preservation, and gifts for the couple and wedding party.

We love what our owner said in the interview with Lynchburg Business: “At Ashley Grace, we want to make finding the dress as special as the day the bride wears it. Our goal is to give exceptional customer service and a unique, personalized experience.”

Our open plan design features a wide selection of gowns and five dressing suites. This allows our brides to have private, personal time with their friends and family. At Ashley Grace, we strive to make each wedding dress shopping experience extra special!
