They grew up going to church together and went to the same middle school and high school. Caleb and Somer got engaged on a rainy Sunday at Ladew Topiary Gardens, and had a gorgeous Lippy Barn wedding in Hampstead, Maryland.

What was the process like planning the Lippy Barn wedding of your dreams?
“I’m a people pleaser, so the process was difficult for me. I wanted to make sure everyone involved had what they wanted! But overall, it was really sweet to plan the most intimate details of our day that reflected who we are individually and as a couple.”
What was your experience like in searching for the perfect dress?
“It was SO easy! I knew the first time I saw my dress at Ashley Grace that it would be the one.”
How did you feel on your wedding day?
“I felt completely at peace and relieved that the day was finally here!”
Did you incorporate anything special in your wedding that reflects you as a couple?
“We have been together almost six years, so I really desired for our wedding day to capture our story as a couple and the faithfulness of the Lord in our relationship. I incorporated pictures from throughout our relationship and little gifts and things we had given to one another. We also wrote our own vows, so we could testify the Lord’s goodness and our love for one another.”
Are there any special moments that specifically stick out in your mind from your Lippy Barn wedding?
“The memory that sticks out to me the most was when we walked out of our ceremony and were officially married. I have never felt such a sense of relief in my life! I was overwhelmed with joy that Caleb and I were finally husband and wife.”
