Her favorite part of planning her Bella Rose wedding in Lynchburg, VA was choosing the details to make her romantic and classic wedding day come to life. Cassidy and Matt were married at Bella Rose Plantation here in Lynchburg on October 28th. Their wedding day was absolutely flawless.
Her wedding dress shopping experience
Shopping for my wedding dress at Ashley Grace Bridal was a dream! I originally had an appointment for a shop in Washington D.C., but being local to Lynchburg, my Mom walked through AG as it had just opened and insisted we visit before making the day trip to the other shop. She mentioned she had seen a dress she wanted me to try on and it just so happens, after trying on a handful of dresses, it was without a doubt my favorite and the one I chose!
My Justin Alexander wedding dress was so comfortable, had everything I was looking for (modest front, sleeves, low back, lace) plus so much more! It was not what I had pictured myself choosing, but it literally was the perfect dress for me and it even had pockets! All of the ladies at AG were so wonderful and helpful through the whole process and I cannot say enough about the ambiance of the shop, the many options of beautiful dresses, and the reasonable price point they are offered at.
Their love story
Matt and I were friends growing up but didn’t date until a few years ago. We both agree that having our friendship as a base to our relationship and marriage has been such a blessing. We dated for two years before Matt proposed at The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., which we visit for a long weekend each year during the holidays. It is my favorite place to visit. So, him proposing here (and hiring a photographer to capture it) was so special to me. Our engagement was just under a year, but flew by with all of the fun of wedding planning!
