How They Met
Abigail and Wes met at their church life group.
The Proposal
Around their 6 month anniversary Abigail and Wes took a day trip to Charlottesville, Virginia. With the picturesque background of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Wes got got down on one knee to ask Abigail to be his forever girl as the moment was captured by a good friend of theirs. Abigail excitedly said yes, and off they went to dinner where Wes had family waiting to celebrate the new engagement. Just as Abigail thought it couldn’t get any more perfect, Wes had planned a surprise engagement party with their dearest friends back in Lynchburg.
Finding the Dress
With her closest girlfriends, Abigail came into Ashley Grace Bridal to find her perfect dress, and she did just that! She locked eyes with a Justin Alexander dress (one of our team’s favorite) and fell in love… again! She was a stunning bride.

The Wedding Day
Pushing back all the butterflies and soaking in each precious moment of her big day, she shares a special memory they had at their wedding. They had their first date at the White Hart Cafe in Lynchburg, Virginia and each guest went home with a favor bag of coffee from the cafe.
“We both love coffee, and that date changed our lives…so I was so happy that it worked out!”
Bride Talk
When asked about her stress level planning her dream wedding Abigail says, “So many people helped out and were there to support me in so many ways. I am very thankful to the countless friends and family that made our wedding absolutely amazing”.

Katie Steele was my day-of-coordinator and I didn’t have to worry about anything on my wedding day. Among others that helped, Vikki Guo was in charge of setting up all decorations at the reception the day of my wedding.”
